Danielle Spade – Vocals, Harmonica
After graduating from La Jolla High Danielle sang and co-wrote with Carlsbad based, “The PMRC” during the mid 1980’s. In 1988 she moved to LA during the glam rock scene in Hollywood and attended The Musicians Institute. While singing with different groups and learning harmonica, she followed a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, and received her DVM in 2006. Returning to her love of writing originals in late 2009, Stone Horse was born.
Jeffrey Jones Bloom- Bass
Hailing from La Jolla, California, Jeffrey has a long history with Carlos and Danielle, sharing the same alma mater and subbing with the band over the years.
Becoming a permanent member in February of 2016, this producer, singer and songwriter is a massive talent in his own right!
Dave Steinman – Drums
Dave is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, having moved to San Diego at the end of 2000. Primarily influenced by 70′s and 80′s hard rock and metal, Dave has played in a myriad of cover and original bands, and his drumming can be heard on numerous studio efforts stemming from both coasts.
With his former NY band, Voodoo Kitchen, Dave has shared the stage with the likes of Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Dee Snyder (Twisted Sister), Firehouse, Warrant, Great White, Kix, Zebra, and countless others.
His earlier San Diego bands, Invisible Inc Static for Zen, have put him on many a San Diego stage, including the Suzuki Rock and Roll Marathon and multiple appearances on primary stages at the San Diego/Del Mar Fair.
Jim Nau – Guitar, Vocals
Another La Jolla native, Jim started his musical career in San Diego, then headed north to LA to work as an engineer and studio musician, later moving to the Bay area where he performed with a variety of bands.
Returning to San Diego, Jim founded Blue Horse Records in 1992 and has produced projects for a number of San Diego’s top artists while honing his guitar playing skills in the local club scene. As the newest member, this multi-instrumentalist, engineer and record producer rounds out the band with a lifetime of rock and roll experience.
